View Application Tab

The View Application tab on the Manage Workspace page lets users preview and download the application’s package and/or individual forms along with any accompanying attachments.

Who Can Use the Features in This Tab?

Every Participant in the workspace will be able to access the View Application tab, however access to specific forms and their attachments may be limited, depending on a user’s role and privileges.

Note: For users with multiple profiles, roles are assigned to each profile separately. A profile is associated with only one organization, so access within workspaces for different organizations may vary.

Note: If your organization uses custom roles rather than the core roles in Grants.gov, please refer to your internal training resources about Grants.gov. The Grants.gov Online User Guide uses the core roles (i.e., Workspace Manager, Standard AOR, and Expanded AOR) to explain which users may access and perform actions. How to View and Download the Entire Package, Including Attachments

  1. Click on the View Application tab.

  2. Locate the full package of forms listed as Application: All Forms in the Form Name / Request Status column.

  3. Click the Request View link or the Request Grantor Image link in the Actions column. (Users will see the Request Grantor Image link if the grant-making agency is providing a grantor image service.)

  4. A pop-up window confirming the view request will appear. Click the OK button.

  5. A Download link will appear in the same Actions column under the Request View/Request Grantor Image link. Click the link and follow directions for viewing and saving the file to your computer.

  6. If you do not see the Download link, wait a few moments and then click the Refresh Status button on the top-right corner of the table. When the Download link appears, complete the actions listed in Step 5.

How to View and Download Forms and Their Attachments

  1. Click on the View Application tab.

  2. Locate the form you would like to view and download in the Form Name / Request Status column.

  3. Click the Request View link in the Actions column.

  4. A pop-up window confirming the view request will appear. Click the OK button.

  5. A Download link will appear in the same Actions column under the Request View link. Click the link and follow directions for viewing and saving the file to your computer.

  6. If you do not see the Download link, wait a few moments and then click the Refresh Status button on the top-right corner of the table. When the Download link appears, complete the actions listed in Step 5.
