Make Workspace Owner

For each workspace, there can only be one Workspace Owner. However, a single user can be the Workspace Owner of multiple workspaces. A user with the Expanded AOR role can make a user the Workspace Owner and transfer ownership to another user.

If the selected user is a participant of many workspaces, you may use the search feature to narrow the results. Once you click the Search button, the results grid will be refreshed, but the checkbox status in the Actions column will be saved even if the row is no longer displayed.

How to Make a User the Workspace Owner

  1. Access the Manage Workspace Access page.

  2. Click the Make Owner button to open the Make Owner of Organization Workspaces pop-up window.

Note: The Make Owner button will only be activated if the user has the Workspace Manager role.

  1. Click the Make Owner check box under the Actions column for all of the workspaces you wish to make the user the Workspace Owner.

  2. Click the Save button to finalize your actions. A confirmation message will appear, notifying the userĀ of how many workspaces the user was made owner of.

After making the user a Workspace Owner, Grants.gov automatically emails them a list of all the workspaces where they became the owner.
